Theo Walcott has revealed that he would happily trade all of his Arsenal appearances for some silverware with the club.
The 24 year old, who turned out for the Gunners for the 250th time in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Reading, told the media that he is “not selfish”, whilst maintaining that the clubs interests are of a greater importance to him than any personal accolade.
Walcott is undoubtedly having his greatest season at the Emirates since signing from Southampton back in 2006, having scored 17 goals in 32 appearances.
Meanwhile, the Mirror has reported that Arsene Wenger is once again set to raid the Championship for potential talent by offering £10 million for Crystal Palace midfielder John Williams.
The club were reportedly in for Williams’ teammate Wilfred Zaha, though the England international chose to sign for Manchester United.
However, Wenger is keen to not lose out this time, and will move for the 19 year old, who won his first cap for Wales in last week’s 2-1 win over Scotland, should he win promotion to the Premier League or not.
Williams only broke into Palace first team last season, but has made 24 appearances in the Championship this time around.
