Emiliano Viviano is a January transfer target for Bologna and Werder Bremen, Talksport understands.
The 27 year-old goalkeeper is currently with the Gunners on a season-long loan from Palermo, but is currently behind Poland internationals Wojciech Szczesny and Lukas Fabianski in the pecking order at the Emirates, and is yet to make an appearance for Arsene Wenger’s side.
Both Bologna and Werder Bremen are ready to approach Palermo about the Italian’s availability, with a bid expected when the transfer window reopens, while it is reported that the Gunners have the option to sign him on a permanent basis when his loan spell ends.
Meanwhile, the club are considering a move for Basel defender Fabian Schar in January, according to the Mirror.
Gunners’ scouts have been casting an eye over the 21 year old in recent weeks, and are preparing an offer for the New Year.
The right back, was part of the side that triumphed 1-0 over Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, has also alerted Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund to his potential.
Elsewhere, Championship side Bournemouth have completed the loan signing of Nico Yennaris, according to BBC Sport.
The defender will stay with the Cherries until January 2nd.
