Having been given a significant amount of money to spend on trying to end their lengthening trophy drought this summer, Arsene Wenger has earmarked a marquee signing up front as one of his main priorities. As recently as a week ago, it seemed that Arsenal were set to bring Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid to the Emirates, but right now, he’s still at the Bernabeu.
As the Higuain transfer continues to drag on, Wenger has identified other possible signings, one of them being the controversial yet prolific Luis Suarez. It seems that the Uruguay star is intent on leaving Liverpool for a side that can offer him Champions League football, and Arsenal can.
