Bacary Sagna is set to return to Arsenal’s starting line-up for the short trip to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The right back missed the Gunner’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend with a knee injury; though he should be fit in time to play from the start.
If Sagna gets the nod, he will be up against the Premier League’s form player Gareth Bale, who has nine goals in his last seven appearances in all competitions.
The last goal in the Welshman’s incredible run was enough to keep Spurs four points ahead of Arsene Wenger’s men, with eleven games left to play.
Arsenal’s player of the moment is midfielder Santi Cazorla, who has bagged the teams last three league goals, whilst three victories from three has seen Arsene Wenger nominated for February’s manager of the month award.
Meanwhile, the Metro reports that the club have been linked with a move for Feyenord defender Daryl Janmaat, who could replace Sagna, should he move away from the Emirates.
The French international’s contract is set to expire in the summer, and is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Janmaat, who has three full international caps, has also been linked with Spurs and Sporting Lisbon.
