Ramsey goal secures famous win in Dortmund

Aaron Ramsey continued his excellent goal scoring form by nodding in the only goal in a superb 1-0 victory for Arsenal over last season’s Champions League runners-up Borussia Dortmund.

The Wales international grabbed his eleventh club goal of the season just past the hour mark to give the Gunners a famous victory at the Westfalenstadion, and keep Arsene Wenger’s men on top of Group F on nine points, along with Napoli who beat Marseille at home.

The North London side face the Ligue One side in just under three weeks’ time, and will secure qualification to the last sixteen if they win and Napoli beat Dortmund in Germany.

Meanwhile, Arsenal target Robert Lewandowski has announced that he has decided who he will sign for next season, according to the Metro.

The Poland international, who was booked against the Gunners yesterday evening, is out of contract at the end of the season and has also been linked with Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Elsewhere, Roy Hodgson has announced his England squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Chile and Germany.

Arsenal duo Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs have all been included for the games, which will take place on November 15th and 19th respectively.
