French club Marseille are interested in taking Arsenal forward Gervinho on loan, the Metro understands.
The 26 year old has largely failed to live up to expectation since arriving at the Emirates in 2011, scoring just nine goals in forty-six league appearances over the last two seasons.
Fellow Ligue 1 side Lyon have already told Arsenal that they want to sign the Ivory Coast international, though it appears Marseille are in pole position.
Turkish sides Galatasaray and Fenerbache are also reportedly keen on the former Lille man.
Whether or not Gervinho is allowed to leave on anything other than a permanent basis remains to be seen, though it does seem increasingly likely that his future will be away from North London.
Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini’s proposed move to Arsenal has hit a stumbling block, with Arsene Wenger reportedly unwilling to meet the midfielder’s £23million release clause.
The Mirror understands that despite widespread interest, Everton are yet to receive a single enquiry about the Belgian international, who was their top scorer last season with eleven goals in thirty-one league appearances.
The 25 year olds former manager David Moyes is also said to be interested, though sources close to Fellaini have suggested that he would prefer a move to the capital.
