Malaga interested in Bendtner swap deal

Malaga are interesting in signing Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, the Mail Online understands.

The La Liga side are keen on the Danish international, and have offered defender Jesus Gamez as part of the deal.

Gamez has been with Malaga since 2000, breaking into the first team during the 2005/06 campaign, and gaining the club’s captaincy in the summer of 2011.

Bendtner spent the majority of last season on loan at Juventus, but made just eleven appearances in all competitions before returning to North London.

His last goals for the Gunners came in the 5-0 FA Cup fifth round replay victory over Leyton Orient, when the Danish international hit a hat-trick.

The 25 year old was set for a move to Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this month, though the move reportedly broke down due to the striker’s wage demands.

Elsewhere, Gervinho will complete his move to Roma this week, the Daily Star understands.

Reports in Italy claim that the Serie A giants have made an improved offer of £8m for the Ivory Coast international.

Finally, Crewe Alexandra are in talks with Gunners midfielder Chuks Aneke, as they look to take him to Gresty Road for a third time.

The 20 year old scored eight goals in thirty-eight appearances over two loan spells with the League One side last term.
