Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic looks likely to be joining Juventus after confirming that he wants to move to the Serie A Champions.
The Gunners have been linked with the Montenegro international for some months, and were set to make a £25million bid, though it appears that 23 year old would prefer to remain in Italy.
The club are now likely to turn their attention to Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuian, who has confirmed that he is moving on after five and a half years at the Bernabeu.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Arsene Wenger is ready to splash out £70 million pounds in an attempt to sign Higuain, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and Lars Bender on Bayer Leverkusen.
Any of the three individual transfers would be set to surpass the £15million laid out for Andrey Arshavin back in 2009, with Higuain and Gundogan reportedly each priced at around £20million, and Bender valued at £17million.
Meanwhile, Theo Walcott has emerged as a target for Napoli, according to the Metro.
Their new manager Rafael Benitez has been a long-time admirer of the England international, who he considered approaching when he was managing both Liverpool and Chelsea.
Walcott recently enjoyed his most prolific season with the Gunners, scoring 21 goals in 43 appearances.
