Jovetic ‘happy’ with Gunners link

Montenegro forward Stevan Jovetic has been speaking of his potential move to Arsenal, stating that he is ‘happy’ to be linked with the club.

The 23 year old, who is set to face England in tonight’s World Cup Qualifier in Podgorica, has been linked with the Gunners since January, though the club are yet to table an offer.

Jovetic, who has twelve goals in twenty-four Serie A appearances for Fiorentina this season, claims that he has “always had an affinity with Arsenal” before admitting that he is tempted by a move to England.

Elsewhere, The Sun have reported that the club are readying a £5 million bid for Denmark striker Andreas Cornelius.

The 20 year old, who has scored sixteen league goals for Danish Superliga Champions FC Copenhagen this season, was watched by Gunners scouts as he scored the opening goal in Denmark’s 3-0 win over the Czech Republic on Friday evening.

Finally, the Daily Express have linked the club with a move for Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah.

The England U21 international, who is set to feature in this summer’s championships in Israel, has impressed while spending the season on loan at Championship side Watford, scoring four goals in thirty league appearances.
