Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly planning to make a move for Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski, according to Metro.
The German international, who only arrived at the Emirates last summer, has insisted that he is happy at the club, though it is rumoured that he is unsettled in North London.
Galatasaray have apparently drawn up a four man shortlist including Arsenal’s number nine, as they look to compliment the talents of Didier Drogba and Wesley Snjeider, who they brought in in January.
Juventus, Anzhi and Bayer Leverkusen are also said to be interested in Podoloski, who has scored nine goals in thirty Premier League appearances this season.
Meanwhile, former Gunners striker Carlos Vela has admitted that he could return to the club, following rumours that Arsene Wenger would be interested in re-signing the Mexican international.
Vela signed for Real Sociedad permanently last summer after an impressive year-long loan at the club, and his form which has seen him bag 13 La Liga goals this term, could well tempt Arsenal to activate a reported buy-back clause in his contract.
However, the 24 year old has stressed that he is keen to remain in Spain, and help his side, who currently sit fourth in the table, qualify for the Champions League.
