Frimpong set to make move permanent?

Emmanuel Frimpong’s Arsenal career seems to have come to an end, with reports suggesting that he could join Fulham on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The midfielder is currently on loan at Craven Cottage, and has made two appearances since joining up with Martin Jol’s men in January.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has valued star striker Burak Yilmaz at £35 million.

The Turkish international has hit 14 goals for the Super Lig leders, and has been linked with a host of European clubs, including the Gunners, who were earmarked as the 27 year old’s preferred option twelve months.

Elsewhere, the club have vowed to hand a life ban to the fan who threw a banana at Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale in Sunday’s North London derby.

It was confirmed yesterday that police have launched an investigation after the object was thrown from the section of away fans before the Welshman took a corner after 27 minutes.

Finally, striker Nicklas Bendtner has been handed a six month ban from international football following a drink-drive offence on Saturday night.

The Danish striker is currently on loan with Serie A leaders Juventus, and is due to return to the Emirates at the end of the season.
