Cesc Fabregas has admitted that only he knows where he will be next season, amid speculation that he could be on the verge of a return to Arsenal.
Whilst the 25 year old has impressed since arriving at in Spain, he remains behind a clutch of players in the pecking order at the Nou Camp, and could be moved on as Barcelona look to rebuild for next season.
Fabregas told Metro:
“I do not know what is being said and even what is written. I can only say that I alone know my own future”.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have also been linked with a move for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy.
According to The Independent, the club will battle with Chelsea for the signature of the Republic of Ireland international, who has started every league game for Roberto Martinez’s men this term, and has racked up well over 100 Premier League appearances since signing from Hamilton Academical back in 2009.
Elsewhere, the Metro have reported that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are set to make a move for Laurent Koscielny.
The defender, who has been valued by the club at £19 million, has established himself in the Gunners first team during the second half of the season, keeping captain Thomas Vermaelen out of the side.
