Messi vs Ronaldo: Who’d Be a Better Fit for Arsenal?

Messi and Ronaldo are the two most famous footballers in the world right now. Football fans go wild when their teams play against each other, and they get a chance to show all of their skills. Moreover, there are few football teams that would not want to have them in their lineup.

What if Messi or Ronaldo decided to start playing for Arsenal? Who would be a better addition to the team? Since there is little chance that this will happen in reality, we should find a different way to answer this question Continue reading

Will Arsene Wenger take charge of Bayern Munich?

If Emmanuel Petit is to be believed, Arsene Wenger is not going to be away from the Football pitch for a very long time and he is going to return to the game in the capacity of a head coach again. Wenger currently doesn’t have work as he parted ways with Arsenal after more than two decades of service.

Petit worked under Wenger for only a couple of years at the Emirates Stadium before taking the transfer to Barcelona in 2000. However despite leaving the club, Petit remained in touch with the boss and developed a close friendship. Continue reading

ARSENAL – PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE CONTENDERS?

Arsenal’s winning streak is now 10 games with the impressive victory over Leicester City. While the team still has defensive concerns, the unit is coherent and has formed a single block that could be dangerous to any team across the continent.

Despite how Unai Emery started with the Gunners setup, he has gone on to invigorate team spirit and raise hopes of a title this season. It is still very early, considering it’s the Premier League (which ends in May) but could Arsenal be a genuine title contender this term? Or at the very least, could a Top Four be a reality? Arsene Wenger Sad To Part Ways With Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is said to part ways following his 22-year association with the north London club. The French tactician managed to secure a victory over Huddersfield Town in his final game in charge and shortly after, he confirmed that there is no such thing as relief after ending his long-term stay with the Gunners.

He said: “Of course it is very emotional after 1,235 games for the same club. To enjoy it we had to win it. Winning football games are what makes me happy and the boys did it.Do I feel relief? Arsene Wenger Reveals Plans To Make Jack Wilshere Captain

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he plans to make Jack Wilshere the new captain, once Per Mertesacker hangs up his boots at the end of the season. Mertesacker has mostly been on the bench during his final season in professional football, and this has earned Wilshere the captain’s armband at times when Laurent Koscielny is on the sidelines.

Speaking on BeIN Sports, Wenger hailed the progress of Wilshere over the years, and believes the Englishman is the right choice to become the next skipper, owing to his experience and knowledge of the game, he said: “He was born at the club basically. He has a long history with the club, strong link with the club.

Mesut Ozil Became ‘Better Player’ Since Joining Arsenal

Mesut Ozil claims that he has become a better player since he made the switch from Real Madrid five years ago. The German became the most expensive signing for Arsenal back in 2013 when he made the £42 million switch from the Spanish club. He made an instant impact at Emirates after contributing in nine assists and five goals in just 26 league appearances in the 2013-14 campaign.

Ozil quickly became one of the key players in the Arsenal setup, but it was with the availability of negative headlines too. Mesut Ozil was often criticised for being too lazy on the pitch and pundits often displayed the matches that led to a defeat for Arsenal largely because of the lack of defensive contribution from the German.

Speaking ahead of the AC Milan game, Wenger confirmed that talks are ongoing between the club and the player’s representatives, and he is hoping that the Englishman prolongs his stay with the Gunners, he said: “I don’t know, but Jack will be free at the end of the season. We make a proposal to him, I want him to stay and my desire is to see him linked to the club for the future. I hope he will do it.”

ESPN Pundit backs Petr Cech to remain at Arsenal next season

ESPN Pundit Steve Nicol feels Petr Cech will stay put with Arsenal for another season at the least. The 35-year-old has produced a mixed performance in the Gunners shirt this term, and there has already been talk of him being replaced in the summer.

Speaking on ESPN FC, Nicol admits that the former Czech international is no longer dependable to produce ‘miraculous saves’ between the sticks, but he is still more capable in goal ahead of back-up shot-stopper David Ospina, he said: “I still believe in Petr Cech myself, he’s solid.
