Campell keen on Arsenal return

Sky Sports understands that Joel Campbell has revealed that he still has an ambition of making his mark with Arsenal, after scoring a wonder goal for Olympiakos in their 2-0 win over Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League last sixteen tie yesterday evening.

The 21 year old joined the Gunners in the summer of 2011, but was immediately loaned out the French side Lorient for the season after failing to obtain a work permit to enable him to play in England.

He then spent the whole of the 2012/13 campaign in Spain with Real Betis, before moving to Greece in the summer.
Campbell has thirty caps for Costa Rica, and is set to come up against England at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

Meanwhile, Arsenal target Julian Draxler has refused to rule out a move to Bayern Munich at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.

The Germany international was linked with a move to North London during the January transfer window, though an offer from the Gunners was not forthcoming.

He signed a new, long term contract with Schalke last year, but looks likely to secure a big money move away from the club in the summer.
