No fresh injury concerns ahead of Napoli clash

Arsene Wenger has no fresh injury concerns for this evening’s crucial Champions League clash with Napoli.

Bacary Sagna, Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo, Abou Diaby, Ryo Miyaichi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all remain side-lined for the match against Rafael Benitez’s side, who can book their place in the knockout stages with victory, should Borussia Dortmund drop points against Marseille.

The Gunners will go through as group winners as long as they don’t lose by three or more goals.

Goals from Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud secured victory for Arsene Wenger’s men when the sides met at the Emirates Stadium on October 1st, and another win here would make it seventeen from twenty-four games in all competitions so far this season.

Meanwhile, Gonzalo Higuain has claimed that he never spoke with Arsenal over a potential move to North London in the summer, according to the Daily Star.

The Argentina forward was reportedly close to swapping the Bernabeu for the Emirates Stadium during the transfer window, but eventually moved to Napoli.

The 26 year old has scored ten goals in eighteen appearances since signing for the Serie A side, and is set to lead the line against the Gunners this evening.
